Sleeveless Top | Indigo & Ecoprinted
*** Important: See sizing chart in final photo before purchasing! Check your own measurements against the reference photo and be aware that the material does not stretch. I cannot accept refunds or exchanges. I only have size small left, but feel free to message me directly if you'd like a made-to-order top in a different size!
This organic, handwoven khadi cotton top will quickly become your favorite summer wardrobe staple! Dyed with organic indigo then ecoprinted with black walnut leaves and marigolds grown at my home in the Green Mountains of Vermont, each of these tops took approximately 5 hours to dye from start to finish.
After meticulously pre-treating each shirt to ensure long lasting color, individual tops were dipped repeatedly in my indigo vat until a deep, saturated blue was achieved. Then each top was adorned with intentionally placed black walnut leaves, ecoprinted, then printed again with marigolds.
These cotton tanks are soft, structured, and do not have any stretch to them. As a result, they are incredibly flattering on a wide variety of body types. They are lightweight and breathable - truly the perfect summer shirt!
Each item in my shop is dyed by hand, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike. You will receive one of the shirts in the last photo showcasing the tops, hanging on the garment rack.
The details:
• Size: Small (see size chart photo for measurements)
• Material: 100% organic cotton
• Soft, structured silhouette with zero stretch
• Hand-dyed with organic indigo, homegrown black walnut leaves & marigolds
Please note: Natural dyes are alive with subtle variation. Colors may shift and gently fade over time, especially with exposure to light, washing, and wear. You may also see variation within a single piece and from batch to batch. These changes are part of the character and beauty of plant-dyed textiles, making each piece truly unique. With proper care, your piece can age gracefully and become an heirloom textile to treasure for years to come.
