Bouquet Preservation Deposit
This listing is for a deposit to reserve your wedding date and ensure I have time in my schedule to accommodate your order. You will receive an invoice for the remaining balance after we discuss details regarding your order (such as bouquet details and size/color of your piece). The invoice can be paid any time after you receive it, but it must be paid at least 2 weeks prior to your date.
Naturally dyed silks are a timeless method of preserving your wedding florals as an heirloom quality keepsake that can be both worn or displayed in your home. Savor the memories of your special day with a custom silk printed with the actual flowers and greenery from your wedding!
Before dyeing your chosen item, I will use a small amount of your florals and greenery to create several samples so I have an idea of how your bouquet will dye. Natural dyeing is both an art and a science, with Mother Nature as the collaborating artist. Many factors beyond any one person's control can affect how a plant dyes- including soil pH, what time of year a plant was harvested, and more. All of these can influence the colors I can extract from your bouquet.
Ordering:
Please review the following document before placing an order: https://www.canva.com/design/DAHDyM5-m2k/LhUhHY4oE1uge8SV4jkvMw/view
Please remember that this listing is for a custom order that will be created after I receive your wedding florals. Photos in the listing are for reference only and by placing an order you are not actually purchasing one of the silks pictured. Reach out with any questions!

All silks begin as white/ivory colored fabric. You may choose to add a background color palette for an additional fee. If you are interested in adding more color to your piece, please make sure to indicate that when reserving your date. After you reserve your date, I will send you a message to discuss details, including color palette options and limitations.
You may choose from of the following options:
- 8 × 54” silk charmeuse wall hanging ($150 white/ivory, $185 added background color)
- 35 × 35” silk charmeuse wall hanging ($215 white/ivory, $265 added background color)
- 22.5 × 85” mulberry silk scarf ($210 white/ivory, $255 added background color)
- Mulberry silk robe (in your chosen size) ($375 white/ivory, $415 added background color)
Included in your purchase of a wall hanging is a magnetic wall hanging frame made of teak wood. The magnetic feature allows you to transition from displaying it in your home, to adorning yourself with it on a special night out if you wish. ***the mulberry silk scarf option does NOT come with a wall hanging frame***

Production timeline:
As a true, one-woman-show small business, I dye everything by hand and by myself. Your custom bouquet preservation silks are made to order. After I receive your wedding florals in the mail, production turnaround can be up to 10 weeks. I strive to finish custom pieces as quickly as I can, but natural dyeing is a slow process. I want to ensure that your keepsake is perfect, therefore it may take several months to complete (especially depending on how many outstanding orders I have).
Refunds/Returns:
I understand that circumstances may change. If you have placed a deposit and have not yet shipped your bouquet, I can provide a refund. However, once you have shipped your flowers and I have begun the preservation process, any payment received is nonrefundable.
Due to the highly custom nature of floral preservation, I cannot accept returns. If you are unhappy with your order in any way, please send me a message. I am committed to do whatever I’m able to ensure you love your piece.

Notes on natural dyeing:
Like all dyes, including synthetic, natural dyes can fade or shift in color over time. The biggest contributing factors are UV sun exposure, aggressive machine washing in hot water, and putting your items in the dryer. I do my best to utilize natural dyes that have been proven to have strong colorfastness (meaning they retain their color well over time), but it is important that you care properly for your textiles to help them maintain their quality. Additionally, I can’t guarantee the colorfastness of the flowers/greenery in your bouquet. There are steps I can take to support this, but certain flowers will change or shift faster than others, regardless of care.
